Steve has 40 years of knowledge and experience from a variety of  industries, primarily paper and plastics manufacturing and recycling. He and his wife Jody have owned and operated Somerset Recycling Services for 27 years. In that time span he has grown the company to have international reach with local roots, providing services and solutions for many Fortune 500 companies along the way. Steve is a devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and man of God.

Steve is a Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor through the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors, and he received the 2012 award for Entrepreneur of the Year for Somerset/Pulaski County.

Michael Keck

Vice President

Michael serves as Vice President of Five Talents Financial Group. Michael focuses on working with each individual seller to navigate them from the beginning of the sales process to the completion of a successful transaction. Michael is a holder of the CM&AA (Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor) credential  through DePaul University and the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors . Michael also holds his Series 7, 66, 79 and 82 securities registrations, along with his Kentucky real estate license. Michael graduated from Western Kentucky University, 03′ with a Bachelor of Science in General Management, and earned a Master of Science in Finance and Economic Policy with the University of London (England) 15′.

John Cole

John has worked in various industries over the past six years in Nashville, including financial services, payment processing/solutions, and healthcare.  He has founded two companies of his own and has personal experience seeing a company progress from advent to exit.

John completed his undergraduate work at Vanderbilt University with a degree in Human and Organizational Development and a minor in Corporate Strategy.  He is also a graduate of Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management, receiving his Master’s in Business Administration with concentrations in Strategy and Entrepreneurship.

Steve Dobbs

Steve has over 40 years of experience in the banking and healthcare industries. He has held various roles in the banking sector, most recently as Senior Vice President of Cumberland Valley National Bank. Steve has also owned and operated several companies in the Health Care industry and completed their successful divestures. Steve has substantial experience in the negotiation and sale of privately owned companies, both as an owner of the corporations and as a consultant.

Steve graduated from from the University of Louisville with a B.S. in Commerce and later attended the University of Kentucky’s School of Banking before moving on to graduate from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking. Steve is an active member of the First United Methodist church and serves as a board member of God’s Food Pantry.
